National Trust 75th Anniversary Celebrations at Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School of Arts
May 1, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tenterfield’s Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School of Arts is The NSW National Trust’s first museum and has earned the title of the ‘birthplace of our nation’, following Parkes’ speech in 1889 that ultimately led to the federation of Australia. You’re invited to help celebrate the 75th anniversary of the National Trust (which we couldn’t officially celebrate last year due to COVID-19) with FREE film screenings of ‘Footsteps to Federation’ (created by local film maker, Peter Harris) at 10am, 12pm + 2pm. FREE museum tours will also operate throughout the day.
Refreshments provided.
